Sermon Notes 11/16/25: His Way

There’s a lot of ways to do a lot of things…

For every choice there is a consequence, and when you do things Jesus’ way, it will all work out. Aren’t you tired of doing things your way and getting the same results? People can give you advice that is not of God, and sometimes things come our way because we thought we had a better way.

But that’s okay! God is here to help you and motivate you to do things Gods way, so that you can have success, God’s way!

To build something in the Kingdom of God, there is an order to things. You start with a secure foundation that is going to hold up the house you are building. In His Kingdom, where He is the King, we are blessed two-fold… We are not only His children but also His citizens.

God sees when things are wrong. He knows, so why do we try to do our own thing? We have to start thinking about this, how can we avoid damaging ourselves? By doing things His way… not by taking shortcuts.

Walking with the Lord…

A lot of things are going on in the world and in society, but even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. We are walking through only… not finding a place to live in the valley.

There are somethings that we will simply have to walk through.

When a scientist prepares medicine, the ingredients have to be added in a specific order. They are combined in a specific procedure because the physician has to be extremely careful with people’s health. Do you know who has to be even more careful with your health?

The Good Lord! He knows exactly what to do and when to do it, we have to do things God’s way.

Get a move on!

Gen 12:1 God told Abram to get away from his family. God sees what you don’t see, hears what you don’t hear and knows what you don’t know. Unfortunately, Abram didn’t move right away. Abram waited until his dad died, even when God had already told him to leave.

Abram trusted the Lord and went where God sent Him, and like Noah, He had to totally depend on God to do something no one has ever done for the Lord.

When we take matters into our own hands, we can make things a disaster!

Just like Abram and Sarai, they got Ishmael through Hagar rather than waiting for their Isaac. They were not happy with what they had done, and had a lot of issues they wouldn’t have had if they would’ve listened only to God.

God is really concerned about people having influence over you away from God, and have you doing things God never intended for you to do.

God is ready to use us and we have to do things God’s way and not our own way. It is time that we yield to how He wants things done.

We know that God loves us, and we show Him our love by doing things the way He wants us to.
