What many people consider successful, they haven’t reached yet because the vision is not of God or from God. Some of them leave before their time as alcoholics etc. because nothing satisfies the soul like Jesus.
The WORD OF GOD bears repeating.
Do you know what sacrifice is?
Sometimes we have to give up something or someone for the sake of the Gospel and the King.
We find ourselves doing things that are the opposite of love, but we say we love God. We don’t make the sacrifice we should to please the One we say we love.
In order for us to be Gods children, He had to give up Jesus. His son had to make the ultimate sacrifice because God loves us.
God created us unique in His image. Now you’re here but things have begun to go awry. Which is one of the things that can happen when we don’t make sacrifices for Jesus.
Col 3:5
We have to stop doing things the worlds way because we are going astray. God is telling you to do something! Kill that urge of formication.
We have problems but … we don’t want to do things Gods way, which is what is getting us in trouble. God wants us to crucify the flesh because we are in His image and His likeness.
That image is the mark of Christ.
We are Gods make, His image, we’re supposed to be like God and follow His Son. God sees your potential and He has faith in you that you can do it!
You may have messed up and not been everything that God wants us to be, but God can salvage any remnant of Him!
It starts with you, there’s something you have to do. When you are going to crucify the flesh, when are you gonna tell it no?
We need to cry out!
‘Help me God because this is not what You want’.
We don’t owe the flesh anything. Living in the flesh is sin, walking after the flesh is believers who have backslid.
So lets make the sacrifice today for the future, just like Jesus did!
Halloween is one day out the year that you can ignore, why can’t you let it go? We have to mortify the flesh! Stop using excuses to do what you want to do?
We are about Gods agenda not the flesh or the world which is contrary to the Word of God.
Jesus wants us to have a good life and good health, so we have to mortify the flesh
Rom 8:12 we don’t have to do what the flesh tells us to do!
