So, hear me out. I know its October, but let me just say Cozy Banana Nut Bread in the fall just hits different.
Picture this, you’re sitting in your pjs, snuggled up to your favorite fall comfort movie eating a slice of warm, delicious banana bread. It smells so good, the neighborhood is sniffing around trying to see who’s got the goods.
If you don’t believe the hype, walk by faith and try this recipe.
Ingredients:
3 very ripe bananas (set out on counter or pop ‘em in the broiler if you can’t wait for them to turn brown)
½ cup unsalted butter
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 – 1 ½ cup walnuts (sub partial or measure of chocolate chips)
Procedure:
Mash up the bananas and one by one add in your ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) and get your loaf pan ready with parchment paper or butter and flour.
Once you’re all mixed up, add your batter into the pan and place in the oven for 55-60 minutes before sticking in a tooth pick and waiting for a clean pull (unless you get chocolate chip melted all over, yum!).
Let it rest before eating because it WILL BE HOT!
Enjoy this Cozy Banana Nut Bread this fall!
